Privacy

Privacy, in plain words.

Labyrica is a project of Strobetano Sagl, a Swiss company based in Chiasso — commercial register CHE‑449.751.960. Strobetano Sagl is the data controller for this website. This page explains what happens to your data when you visit. It’s short, because we collect almost nothing.

No tracking, no cookie banner

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies and loads no third-party trackers. That’s why there is no cookie banner — there is nothing to consent to.

Our visitor statistics are counted on our own server as anonymous daily totals: pages viewed, clicks on the WhatsApp button, the English/Italian split, and the domain a visit came from. No IP addresses, no identifiers, and no browsing profiles are stored, and none of it can be traced back to you.

The two cookies that can exist

  • Language choice. If you explicitly switch between English and Italian, we set a lang cookie for one year so the site remembers your choice. It contains only “en” or “it”.
  • Admin session. A session cookie used only by the people who edit this site after logging in. Visitors never receive it.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Hostinger. Like virtually every web server, the hosting infrastructure keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and operations, retained for a limited time. We don’t use these logs to identify visitors.

If you contact us

  • WhatsApp. The contact button opens a chat with our WhatsApp Business account. From that moment the conversation is handled by WhatsApp (Meta Platforms), under WhatsApp’s own privacy policy. On our side, we only count that the button was clicked — anonymously.
  • Email. If you write to us, we use your address and message only to reply and handle your request. No newsletters, no lists, no sharing with third parties.

Legal bases and your rights

We process data under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). What little processing exists rests on our legitimate interest in running a secure website, and on your request when you contact us.

You have the right to ask what data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to processing. Reach us through the contact page — we usually reply within one business day — or by post at the registered office: Strobetano Sagl, c/o Arifida & Partners SA, Via Giuseppe Motta 18, 6830 Chiasso, Switzerland. You can also complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, in the EU, to your local supervisory authority.
